AURATON Aquarius PIR (the successor to AURATON PIR) is a wireless motion sensor designed for automatic control of the circulation pump in a domestic hot water (DHW) system. Its primary function is to detect user activity. When the PIR sensor detects movement in the bathroom, it transmits a signal to the receiver, which activates the hot water circulation. This solution allows hot water to be turned on only when it is needed, leading to real savings and increased user comfort. The AURATON Aquarius PIR sensor can be easily mounted on the wall in bathrooms, homes, or offices. The sensor does not collect user data, but only detects movement, making it also frequently used in public facilities.
