Multi-function pump controller
AURATON Ursa (successor to AURATON S14) is a multi-functional controller designed to work with central heating (CH) and domestic hot water (DHW) circulation pumps, as well as thermo-stoves (water-jacketed stoves) and forced-draft solid fuel boilers. The user can set the temperature in the range of 10°C to 85°C, while temperature measurement is carried out in the range of 0°C to 99°C. Depending on the set temperature, the controller turns the pump on or off. AURATON Ursa has been expanded with several useful options, including a function to limit the fan power (automatically or manually) and add fuel to the firebox while simultaneously blocking the fan operation.

AURATON Ursa controller - how does it work?
The controller ensures safe pump operation - if the temperature in the system rises above 85°C, an emergency heat removal function is activated. In this case, the domestic hot water storage tank will be used as a heat buffer with the support of the CH pump. AURATON Ursa is equipped with an LCD display with current operating indicators. Additionally, the screen is divided into 4 parts, and each of them is responsible for controlling a separate device. The controller has an AntiStop function, which prevents the impeller of an unused pump from seizing up.

The AURATON Ursa controller is capable of simultaneously controlling up to three central heating (CH) pumps and one domestic hot water (DHW) pump, as well as a fan for a solid fuel furnace. Auraton Ursa is also adapted to control a 3-way switching valve. The multi-functional controller can also be used to control CH pumps in a water jacket fireplace system.
